Who is business coaching for?

Let’s be honest—you’re probably skeptical about the idea of paying me hundreds of dollars an hour for business coaching. At least I was, before I got my own business coach. Let’s help clear up your skepticism so you can make a clear, informed decision.

If you identify with any of the following statements, it might be time to invest in 1:1 coaching:

  • You’re on your way, but you haven’t hit your income goals, and you have very ambitious goals. (Like, very!)

  • You want to reach your goals sooner than your current pace will allow.

  • You’re tired of muscling through life and doing it alone. You know you can, but you want to end this do-it-all-yourself-and-then-burnout life cycle you’ve been in since, forever.

  • You’ve plateaued with your current business strategy and you want professional help with the nitty-gritty of growing at higher tiers—it takes more fine-tuning, feedback and challenge to reach the top.

  • You’ve reached your goals but it feels empty. Now you want to throw your business away; it’s not working for you as-is.

  • You KNOW that meeting your goals requires the strategy and the deep inner work. You crave the challenge a coach will offer you. Ya know, when they know your shit and they call you on it, so that you can work on it & expand, rather than hiding in shame.

How can business coaching help me?

I get it—you probably know that you can do it all by yourself, and what is it that I know that you don’t? If I could help you, how & with what???

Here are some things my business coach has helped me with:

  • Strategic Decision Making: I almost spent $5k+ on a hiring a videographer for my website because I was anxious I wouldn’t be able to charge $400+/hour without one. Turns out I didn’t need it, and my coach saved me thousands of dollars

  • Knowing My Business: That same story led me to creating a spreadsheet to track my numbers, which is now a freebie on my website. Creating that spreadsheet and updating it completely changed how I make decisions in my business AND…⬇

  • Decreased Stress & Empowerment: My stress in running my business has gone down significantly. I run it; it doesn’t run me. I make my business work for me, as it should, because I know my numbers & how my business works. A slow month doesn’t cause a spiral.

  • Increased Income: I make $5-$10k more per month since starting with my business coach, and my monthly income will continue to increase

  • Expanding Personally & Professionally: With my coach’s help, I have integrated what I’ve learned about myself in my own therapy and as a therapist—my strengths and weaknesses—to identify how I get in my own damn way and how I am stopping myself from reaching my full potential, continuing to grow & expand in thoughtful, caring ways (for both me and the people I serve)

The benefits of good 1:1 business coaching approach & sometimes rival the benefits of your own personal therapy.

Being successful is triggering.

Making more money is triggering.

Becoming more visible is triggering.

Creating new products & services & advertising them is triggering.

Being wildly successful in business is one of the most difficult things you can do. Embracing your Inner Entrepreneur is terrifying.

If you want to be able to emotionally keep up with your dreams & your capacity, 1:1 business coaching is a must.

You will hit ceiling after ceiling. The more you quickly & aggressively you grow, the more frequently you will experience a trigger, a personal or professional ceiling, or hit a plateau. The difference between “success” & “failure” is what you do when you hit it. How quickly you metabolize it. How kind you are to yourself.

As a therapist you should know—it’s all about the inner work. That’s where I come in.

In-person and remote business coaching

I offer in person business coaching in my beautiful office in Tacoma.
I’d love to host you in person on an ongoing basis, or the occasional in person meeting, as your schedule allows.

Business coaching intensives will be held at my office in Tacoma.

And how much does it cost??? 😓😓😓

Here’s the honest truth—I haven’t settled on a base hourly fee yet.

I know my fee is going to scale with your growth (a profit share model). For ongoing 1:1 work, I’m going to ask you to sign a contract with me (probably 6 months).

And that’s as far as I’ve gotten. If my “Go Before You’re Ready” (thank you, improv!) approach inspires you (rather than drives you away), you should reach out.

What I do know: I’m only going to commit to high-vibe, right fit clients. For those right fits, I would love to start a conversation with you and see if we can find an arrangement that works for both of us.

I’m new to the business coaching space, but I’m not new to challenging people to do the deep inner work which leads to success, or building a successful business. I know I’m a great coach, even if the social proof isn’t there yet. Call it arrogance or stubbornness, or knowing your value and your boundaries & not giving in with yourself just because others don’t know you and what you have to offer.

Someone’s going to read this (maybe you!) and know what I’m doing right now is what they need to do—to take the leap before they’re “ready.” I'm that coach—the try-it-right-now-coach, the-who-cares-if-you-fall-coach (because no one’s watching), the-are-you-going-to-let-your-projections-dictate-your-life-coach, the-be-fearless-when-it-comes-to-your-goals-coach, the-be-honest-even-when-it-hurts-coach…do you want to be that kind of business owner? I’m here to teach 🙂

Go Before You’re Ready.
